Black History Month Celebration
February 7
At CCEIL, we recognize that Black history is not confined to the past. It is living, evolving, and deeply connected to the experiences of Black newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and long-standing Black communities today. We acknowledge the importance of creating inclusive spaces where Black voices are heard, valued, and respected, and where equity, dignity, and opportunity are actively promoted.
This month invites us all to learn, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations about anti-Black racism, belonging, and social justice. It also challenges us to move beyond celebration toward action—by supporting equity-focused initiatives, amplifying Black voices, and working collectively to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
