Membership at C-Community Empowerment Initiative Lethbridge (CCEIL) is open to all Cameroonians residing in Lethbridge, Alberta, as well as individuals who share our mission of empowerment, inclusion, and community support.
We welcome:
● Cameroonians by birth, marriage, or heritage living in Lethbridge and surrounding areas.
● Friends of the Cameroonian community who embrace the values and objectives of CCEIL.
● Individuals of all backgrounds who are committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and the empowerment of immigrants.
Anyone aged 18 or older may become a member by completing a registration form and paying a one-time membership fee along with an annual contribution, as determined by the General Assembly. Youth under 18 may be co-opted into the organization by a parent, guardian, or sponsoring member.
Our official registration period runs from January 1st to March 31st each year, but new members are welcome to join at any time, provided they meet the registration requirements.
CCEIL membership offers access to community events, support networks, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative efforts that promote social well-being and immigrant integration.
Termination of Membership
Membership may be suspended or terminated due to non-payment of dues, voluntary resignation, or conduct contrary to CCEIL’s values. Disciplinary actions may include written warnings, fines, suspension, or expulsion, as determined by the General Assembly. All disciplinary actions will follow due process, with members granted the opportunity to respond.
